Axis Deer
Originally from India, the axis deer (chital) was introduced to Texas in the 1930s. Texas now holds the largest free-ranging axis population outside Asia. At Five Aces, they're our most requested species: a great trophy, excellent meat, and a real challenge.

Blackbuck Antelope

What's included in an all-inclusive hunt package?
Every Five Aces package includes comfortable lodge accommodations, home-cooked meals (breakfast and dinner; lunch packed for the field), one-on-one professional guiding, field dressing, caping, and ranch transportation. We also provide access to our shooting range and walk-in cooler. Hunting license, gratuities, and taxidermy are not included.
Do I need a Texas hunting license for exotic game?
Yes. A valid Texas hunting license is required to hunt exotic animals, even on private land where there are no state-regulated seasons or bag limits. You can purchase your license online through the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. We'll walk you through exactly what you need before your trip.
